Part 2: Wedding
I'll be writing an in depth wedding post once our pictures come.

Gordon and I were married on August 2, 2014 in the Draper  Utah Temple.  We chose August 2nd because it was  RaChel and Joel's ( Gordon's parents) 30th anniversary. It was a lovely late summer day that went in one crazy blur. Outside the Temple was pretty crazy due to it being the last day available for marriage before the Draper Temple closed for 2 months for  maintenance. We were so blessed to be surrounded by so much love from friends and family.

Part 3: Newly Weds
Goodness... I've meant to get his blog up so much sooner. However crazy newly wed life keeps happening and I keep thinking..."oh now I need to add that to our blog." There are simply to many things in the 6 weeks we have been married to do an in depth post on everything. So...Highlights!

1: Sick Honeymooners: We spent our first week of marriage with HORRIBLE colds. Snot, tissue, coughing, sleeping and phlegm....so romantic ;)

2: New Job: Gordon works for the Canyon School District. He was originally a rover and went to all the school to do maintenance. 2 weeks into our marriage he was offered a job at Mt Jordan Middle School as Assistant Custodian. He is really enjoying it plus it came with a small raise.

3: Bleated Honey Moon: Since we were super sick on our Honeymoon, over Labor Day weekend we had a little "Redo". We spent two nights in Salt Lake City in the Little America. We explored downtown SLC, did a session in the temple, ate at fancy restaurants and just enjoyed being married. On our last day we went to the Hogel Zoo,

4: Ellie:  While at the Zoo... we somehow got in our heads that we needed an animal of our own. Sadly the zoo would not allow us to have one of theirs so we went to the Utah Human Society and visited Kitty City. There we found Ellie. She was a little black and white kitten who nuzzled right up to Gordon. I was at the time in love with a little black kitty, But when we switched kittens. Ellie purred for me and black kitty tried to runaway from Gordon.  So Ellie was the winner ;) She is a ball for personality and energy. She never walks! She is either  running or bouncing. Yes bouncing. Ellie literately bounces/leaps as a form of transportation. I think we should have named her Tigger.  Ellie is a burrower also and for the first week or so she only would sleep burrowed under the covers. She now has learned she is our baby and SPOILED! so she took her role highness self and now has commandeered a spot on MY pillow. Ellie sleeps on my head or next to my head EVERY NIGHT. She enjoys waking me up by nibbling my ear.  Ellie also liked to hide in the long ends of our table cloth. She lays hidden and will jump out and grab your ankles as you walk by. We think she may being training to be an assassin.

5: George:  Gordon's car was a clunker and was slowly dying... Once we learned it would need all new tires to be safe to drive in winter and would cost around $500 we decided it was time to buy a new car.... But goodness! Car talking was stressful for me. Every time we tried to look, shop or discuss we ended up in a tif. Luckily Heavenly Father knows that sometimes I just need to be tossed in to something. Last Saturday between Saturday errands and getting ready to attend Levi's 2nd birthday part my parent's called to tell us their was a sale at Murdock Hyundai. I have loved Hyundais ever since my Dad got one last summer. Gordon and I decided to go down to Lindon after the party ( about 6pm) and at 10pm we came rolling home in George. He is a 2014 red Hyundai accent and we love him. It's still up for debate who will be his primary driver so for now we just take turns :)

Hopefully I will become better and blogging. I know newlywed blogs are pretty common and these posts may not interest anyone past our mothers, but it's a way for me to journal and document our life.
