Marriage is Hard... It is not sunshine and roses 100% of the time. Marriage is something two people have to work at 24/7. When couples hit a bump or snag or rut, it is human nature to look at what the other person is doing "wrong" and forget that for every 1 "Wrong" thing...there are Hundreds of things they are doing "Right". So I made a list of a few reasons I love, appreciate and value my wonderful Hubby.
1: He TRULY Loves Me: I am not always an easy person to love....I can be quite emotion, stubborn and sharped tounged at times. However, through Thick and Thin this man loves me and excepts that I have flaws. He loves with his whole heart and that is not an easy thing.
2: He Drives. I hate driving.... and when bad weather comes I can turn into an anxiety wreck. Hubby drives me everywhere when we are together and never complains.
3: He works HARD: Right now Hubby is working an awful 6pm-3am shift and he has to commute from Orem to SLC to do it.... He never complains. He works horrible hours and battles the 5pm rush hour like a Champ, all so he can provide for his growing family.
4: He Picks up Dinner: There are more nights then I want to admit where I turn to my Hubby and say " I'm craving *Insert Yummy Food*". He will immediately offer to go pick it up for me. What a Gem ;)
5: He loves Baby P: Are baby is due to 3 weeks and Hubby is already an amazing Daddy. He loves nesting with me and getting ready for our sweet boy to arrive. He talks all the time about all the things they will do together like Basketball, Fishing and Camping.
6: He is an RM: It takes A LOT for young men to serve faithfully for two years. I give him so much credit and gratitude for serving the Lord faithfully for two years. I see the blessings daily for out family from the choice he made to serve.
7: He Compliments Me: Hubby always tells me how beautiful, cute, sexy and amazing I am and he continues to tell me all day long. Being 37 weeks pregnant... I really need to hear at times that I look beautiful and it means so much that he says it with our prompts or hints. He just comes up and tells me :)
8: He Sacrifices: Daily Hubby makes small to large sacrifices so that I can be happy. He willing to drive 30 minutes so I can see my parents for just a few minutes, He eats food he dislikes because He knows that's what I am craving. He misses out on visiting friends to take care of me when I am sick. The list goes on and on but he never complains. He always puts me first.
9: He holds the Priesthood: Boy can this man give a wonderful Husband's blessing. I am so thankful he is a worthy Priesthood holder who was able to take me to the temple to be married for all of Eternity.
10: He WANTS to be with me: I am not sure how to explain this except for he TRULY wants to be with me. Even when I am doing task he dislikes like Shopping, he wants to be with me so we can spend time together. I am lucky to have a Husband who WANTS to be there.
